Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and proactive Accountant with 2–3 years of experience in an IT company. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in GST, tax filings, PF, ESIC, invoicing, billing, accounting, and budget planning, along with exposure to government schemes and account engagement. This role requires strong compliance knowledge and the ability to manage end-to-end accounting operations independently.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle end-to-end accounting operations including bookkeeping, journal entries, ledgers, and reconciliations
• Manage GST compliance: GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GST reconciliation, and filings
• Handle direct and indirect tax filings including TDS returns and challans
• Manage PF and ESIC compliance, filings, and coordination with authorities
• Prepare and manage client invoicing and billing, including IT services billing and revenue tracking
• Monitor accounts receivable and payable; ensure timely collections and payments
• Assist in budget planning, forecasting, and expense control
• Support statutory, internal, and tax audits
• Manage account engagement, including coordination with clients
• Handle documentation and compliance related to government schemes, registrations, and filings
• Ensure adherence to company policies, accounting standards, and statutory regulations

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce / Accounting / Finance
• 2–3 years of relevant accounting experience in an IT / services-based company
• Strong knowledge of GST, tax filings, PF, ESIC, invoicing, and billing
• Experience handling government portals and schemes
• Exposure to funding processes (grants, investments, or startup funding) is preferred
• Proficiency in accounting software (Tally, Zoho Books, SAP, or equivalent)
• Advanced working knowledge of MS Excel
• Good understanding of Indian accounting and compliance regulations
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• Experience in payroll processing
