Accountant - Senior

About the Role:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day accounting operations, preparing accurate financial reports, ensuring compliance with regulations, and supporting management with financial planning and analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and bank reconciliations
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Review and analyze budgets, forecasts, and financial performance
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal reporting requirements
• Assist with internal and external audits
• Implement and maintain accounting controls, policies, and procedures
• Provide guidance and support to junior accounting staff
• Collaborate with management to improve financial processes and efficiency

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or CA preferred)
• Minimum 5+ years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a senior/lead role
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, tax regulations, and financial reporting
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, SAP, or ERP systems)
• Advanced MS Excel skills
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
