Accountant

Job Title: Accountant / Bookkeeper – Used Metalworking Machinery Business Location: Mundka Industrial Area, Delhi Employment type: Full time We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Accountant / Bookkeeper to manage the daily financial operations of our used metalworking machinery trading business. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate records of all financial transactions, managing accounts, preparing reports, and ensuring the smooth flow of financial data related to buying and selling of machines. Key Responsibilities: Maintain and update Capital Account, Cash Account, and Bank Account separately. Record and reconcile daily transactions, expenses, sales, and purchases. Prepare and issue bills/invoices for machinery sales and purchases. Maintain a proper record of vendor payments, customer receipts, and credit/debit notes. Track inventory movement of machines and ensure proper accounting of incoming/outgoing stock. Prepare monthly profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and financial summaries. Coordinate with management for budgeting, cash flow planning, and tax compliance. Ensure all accounting entries comply with GST and other statutory regulations. Maintain organized filing of all supporting documents and records. Requirements: Proven experience as an Accountant / Bookkeeper, preferably in a trading or machinery business. Strong knowledge of Tally, Excel, or other accounting software. Good understanding of GST filing, invoice generation, and bank reconciliation. Excellent organizational and time-management skills. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry. Basic knowledge of import/export documentation (preferred but not mandatory). Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Commerce, or Finance (B.Com / M.Com preferred). Minimum 2–3 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping. Knowledge of the used machinery market will be an added advantage.
