About Us:

We are a fast-growing FMCG distribution firm serving leading brands across Punjab. With a focus on operational efficiency and transparent financial systems, we are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team and support day-to-day financial operations.

Key Roles & Responsibilities:• Accounting & Bookkeeping:

Maintain accurate books of accounts using Tally/Busy or other accounting software.

Record day-to-day transactions including sales, purchases, receipts, and payments

Maintain and reconcile cash and bank books on a daily basis

• GST & Taxation Compliance:

Prepare and file GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9)

Ensure TDS compliance and timely filing of TDS returns

Assist with income tax and audit-related documentation

• Inventory & Billing:

Coordinate with sales and warehouse teams to reconcile stock movements

Generate customer invoices and credit notes

Manage billing discrepancies and returns accounting

• Vendor & Client Coordination:

Reconcile accounts payable and receivable

Follow up with clients for outstanding payments

Verify vendor invoices and resolve disputes

• Reporting & Documentation:

Prepare daily/weekly/monthly financial reports for management

Assist in budgeting and variance analysis

Maintain proper documentation for audits and inspections

Desired Candidate Profile:

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com) or related field

• Minimum 2 years of accounting experience in an FMCG/distribution or retail setup

• Proficiency in accounting software (Tally/Busy), MS Excel, and online GST portals

• Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, and accounting standards

• Attention to detail, integrity, and the ability to work under minimal supervision
