Accountant

JOB TITLE: ACCOUNTANT

LOCATION: PITHAMPUR

DEPARTMENT: FINANCE AND ACCOUNTS

JOB SUMMERY: We are looking for a detail oriented and experienced Accounts executive to manage core accounting operations including GST, BANK RECONCILIATION, FINAL ACCOUNTS, VENDOR MANAGEMENT and Accounting software. The ideal candidate will ensure financial accuracy, compliance with statutory requirements and efficient vendor and system management.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• GST AND TAXATION: Ensure timely and accurate preparation and filling GST returns. Handle GST audits, notices and queries from tax authorities.
• Bank Reconciliation: Daily reconciliation of bank statements with internal records. Maintain accurate bank ledger entries.
• Financial Accounts: Assist in preparation and finalization of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements.
• Vendor Management: Maintain vendor records and agreements. Handle vendor queries and resolve payment discrepancies.
• Software Management: Operate and manage accounting software (e.g. Tally, Zoho) Ensure accurate and up to date data entry and recordkeeping.

QUALIFICATION REQUIRED:

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting.
• 8-10 years of relevant experience in accounting and taxation.
• Strong knowledge of GST regulations and Accounting Principles.
• Proficiency in accounting software (Tally, Zoho, etc.).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and coordination abilities.

Working Days: Monday to Saturday

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Pithampur, Madhya Pradesh: Reliably commute or willing to relocate with an employer-provided relocation package (Preferred)

Education:

• Bachelor's (Preferred)

Experience:

• Accounting: 8 years (Required)
• GST Filing and Return: 5 years (Required)
