Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

1. Accounting Operations

Manage day-to-day accounting transactions including journal entries, ledgers, and reconciliations.
Prepare and maintain invoices, bills, receipts, and payments.
Process vendor invoices, employee reimbursements, and petty cash transactions.
Reconcile bank statements, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.

2. Compliance & Reporting

Assist in preparation and filing of GST, TDS, PF, ESI, and other statutory returns.
Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing activities.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and tax regulations.
Maintain proper documentation and filing of all financial records.

3. Pricing & Business Support

Assist in preparing costing, pricing, and quotations in coordination with Sales and Purchase teams.
Review and verify cost elements (materials, services) before finalizing quotations.
Maintain and update pricing records for accuracy and consistency.

4. Audit & Controls

Coordinate with auditors during internal and statutory audits.
Ensure accuracy and proper internal controls across financial activities.

5. Other Responsibilities

Demonstrate a positive attitude and willingness to learn new software/tools (e.g., Zoho Books).
Draft and respond to professional emails related to accounts, vendors, and clients.
Use MS Excel effectively for reports, reconciliations, and data analysis.
