Job Role: Chartered Accountant (CA) / Company Secretary (CS) – Law Firm1. Corporate & Compliance AdvisoryAdvising clients on company incorporation, restructuring, mergers, and closures Ensuring compliance with the Companies Act, 2013, LLP Act, FEMA, and allied regulations Handling ROC filings, statutory registers, and annual compliances 2. Financial, Tax & Regulatory SupportAdvising on direct and indirect taxation matters (Income Tax, GST, TDS, assessments) Assisting advocates in tax litigation, notices, and departmental proceedings Preparing financial statements, audit reports, and compliance certificates 3. Transaction & Documentation SupportAssisting in due diligence for M&A, investments, and joint ventures Drafting and vetting shareholder agreements, board resolutions, financial disclosures Supporting contract structuring from a financial and compliance perspective 4. Litigation & Dispute SupportProviding financial analysis in commercial, insolvency, and tax disputes Preparing claims, statements of accounts, and forensic reports Assisting in NCLT, NCLAT, ITAT, and GST appellate matters 5. Governance & Secretarial Functions (CS Specific)Acting as Compliance Officer for corporate clients Advising on corporate governance, board practices, and SEBI regulations Conducting board and general meetings, maintaining minutes and records 6. Insolvency & RestructuringSupporting IBC proceedings, resolution plans, and liquidation processes Acting as or assisting IRPs/RPs (where applicable) Handling creditor coordination and financial verification 7. Client Advisory & Firm SupportCoordinating with advocates, clients, and regulators
