Job Summary:

The Accountant will be responsible for handling day-to-day financial transactions, maintaining accurate books, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with GST and other statutory requirements. This role demands precision, reliability, and strong knowledge of Indian accounting standards.

✅ Key Responsibilities:

• Day-to-Day Accounting:
• Record and reconcile sales, purchase, expenses, and journal entries in accounting software (Tally, Zoho, etc.)
• Handle petty cash and bank reconciliations
• GST & TDS Compliance:
• Prepare and file GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, etc.)
• Manage TDS deductions, payments, and return filings
• Invoicing & Billing:
• Generate sales invoices and ensure timely collection
• Coordinate with vendors and customers for payment follow-ups
• Inventory & Ledger Management:
• Maintain stock-related entries, adjustments, and reporting
• Reconcile party ledgers, supplier balances, and customer accounts
• Monthly & Annual Reports:
• Assist in preparing P&L statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports
• Support in audit processes and financial year closing
• Compliance & Documentation:
• Maintain up-to-date records of all financial documents
• Ensure timely statutory filings and liaise with CA or external consultants as required

✅ Requirements:Educational Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance
• Preference for candidates with CA Inter or Tally-certified

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in Tally, Excel, and basic accounting software
• Knowledge of GST, TDS, and Indian tax laws
• Understanding of inventory and costing principles

Soft Skills:

• Attention to detail and high accuracy in financial work
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good communication and coordination abilities
• Ability to meet deadlines and work independently

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month

Schedule:

• Day shift
• Weekend availability
