Job Description

Job Title: Accountant We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to oversee the accounting and compliance functions of our manufacturing company engaged in the import of goods and domestic sales within India. The ideal candidate should possess strong knowledge of accounting principles, statutory compliances, and hands-on expertise in Tally and Excel. Key Responsibilities • Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounts in Tally, including Purchase, Sales, Bank, Journal, Import & Export transactions. • Ensure timely and accurate compliance with GST, including preparation and filing of monthly/quarterly returns, reconciliations, and supporting documentation. • Manage TDS compliance: prepare and deposit TDS, maintain TDS records, and update Excel trackers. • Prepare monthly financial statements, MIS reports, and perform account reconciliations. • Assist in statutory, tax, and internal audits while ensuring accuracy and adherence to internal controls. • Reconcile bank statements, vendor accounts, and general ledgers. • Prepare and process Purchase Orders, Sales Orders, E-Invoices, and E-Way Bills. • Maintain daily cash records, prepare vouchers, and oversee petty cash management. • Handle Accounts Payable & Receivable, including reconciliations and processing. • Manage and reconcile inventory records in Tally.
