Accountant

You will be joining Dolphin Group as an Accountant in Indapur, India. Your role will involve maintaining accurate financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with Indian accounting standards and local regulations. Key responsibilities include: - Prepare and analyze financial statements, reports, and forecasts in accordance with Indian accounting standards - Implement and maintain internal control systems to safeguard company assets - Monitor and analyze accounting data to produce accurate financial reports and statements - Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies, and principles - Coordinate and lead the annual budgeting and forecasting process - Ensure compliance with local tax laws and regulations, including GST requirements specific to Indapur - Provide financial analysis and recommendations to management to drive informed business decisions - Collaborate with team members and other departments to streamline financial processes - Stay up-to-date with changes in Indian financial regulations and accounting standards - Assist in the preparation and filing of various tax returns and statutory reports Qualifications required for this role: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field - Professional certification such as CA, CPA, or CMA preferred - Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or financial reporting roles - Strong knowledge of Indian accounting standards, tax laws, and GST regulations - Familiarity with local tax regulations specific to Indapur, India - Proficiency in accounting software, ERP systems, and advanced Excel skills - Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities - Outstanding attention to detail and organizational skills - Effective time management and planning capabilities - Strong written and verbal communication skills in English - Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment - Collaborative mindset and ability to work well in a team - Knowledge of regional business practices and financial reporting requirements - Demonstrated ability to adapt to changing regulatory requirements and accounting practices Dolphin Group, established in 1992, is a leading conglomerate in Qatar with a diversified portfolio across multiple sectors.
