Job Description

Key Responsibilities 1. Daily Accounting OperationsRecord daily sales, purchase entries, credit notes, debit notes. Manage payments, receipts, and bank entries in accounting software (Zoho Books/Tally or as specified). Maintain Books of Accounts as per company policies and audit requirements. Handle bank reconciliation on a daily/weekly basis. 2. Taxation & CompliancePrepare and file GST (GSTR-1, 2B, 3B, reconciliations). Manage TDS entries, deductions, and monthly deposits. Ensure proper documentation and compliance during audits and assessments. 3. Inventory & Stock ManagementMaintain stock statements, consumption records, and production-related entries. Coordinate with warehouse/inventory team to verify physical stock vs system stock. Prepare monthly stock variance reports. 4. Import & Forex DocumentationPrepare, verify, and maintain import documents: Bills of Entry Packing Lists Commercial Invoices Maintain records for forex payments, bank charges, currency rates, and reconciliation of vendor accounts. 5. Financial ReportingPrepare weekly MIS reports: Cash flow Outstanding payables/receivables Sales summaries Stock movement Prepare monthly reports: P&L draft Balance Sheet draft GST & TDS summaries Monthly expense trackers 6. Audit SupportWork directly under the CA to prepare all schedules for internal and statutory audit. Maintain and organise vouchers, invoices, and supporting documents for easy reference. 7. Internal CoordinationWork closely with: Purchase team for bills & vendor reconciliation Sales team for orders & outstanding follow-up Inventory team for stock sync Bank for documentation & settlements Required Skills & QualificationsBachelor's degree in Commerce / Accounting / Finance (B.Com / M.Com). Minimum 2–5 years experience in accounting, preferably in manufacturing or FMCG. Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, and basic financial laws. Experience with Zoho Books, Miracle, Excel, and Google Sheets. Ability to maintain strict accuracy and timely reporting. Understanding of import procedures and bank documentation preferred. Good communication and coordination skills.
