ACCOUNTANT (EXPERIENCE)

Job Role Overview:

The Accountant will be responsible for managing and maintaining the company’s financial records, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements, and handling day-to-day accounting operations. The role requires hands-on experience in Tally, GST filings, Income Tax compliance, Professional Tax, PF, and ESIC management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records in Tally ERP.
• Prepare and record all financial transactions including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments.
• Prepare and finalize Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss Account, and Trial Balance.
• Handle GST registrations, monthly/quarterly returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B), reconciliation, and annual filing.
• Compute and file Income Tax returns, TDS payments, and quarterly TDS statements.
• Manage Payroll Processing including salary calculation, deductions, and compliance with PF, ESIC, and Professional Tax.
• Prepare and maintain statutory registers and coordinate with government departments for compliance matters.
• Assist in internal and external audit processes by providing necessary records and explanations.
• Monitor accounts receivable/payable, bank reconciliations, and petty cash handling.
• Support management with financial reports and MIS as required.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance (B.Com/M.Com/ CA and CMA Inter).
• Proficient in Tally ERP 9 / Tally Prime and MS Excel.
• In-depth knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax, PF, ESIC, and P. Tax compliance.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in financial data management.
• Good communication and coordination skills with auditors, clients, and departments.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
