Accountant

Job Summary: We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Accountant to manage the company’s financial operations, including vendor and customer management, statutory compliance, and accounting software handling. The ideal candidate must be proficient in Zoho Books, possess strong negotiation and communication skills, and ensure smooth financial functioning aligned with company goals. Key Responsibilities: Maintain accurate and timely financial records Record, track, and reconcile transactions using Zoho Books Handle vendor management – bill verification, payment processing, and ledger reconciliation Handle customer management – invoicing, collections follow-up, and resolving payment issues Perform TDS working – accurate deduction, payment, and filing of returns Manage GST working – computation, reconciliation, and return filing (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, etc.) Prepare financial statements – P&L, balance sheet, cash flow reports Conduct bank reconciliations and manage petty cash Coordinate with auditors during internal and statutory audits Support in budgeting, forecasting, and cost control analysis Ensure compliance with all applicable tax laws and internal policies Demonstrate negotiation skills during vendor discussions and financial settlements Collaborate with internal departments for approvals and documentation Required Skills: Proficiency in Zoho Books, Tally, and MS Excel Strong knowledge of accounting principles, GST & TDS laws Experience in vendor and customer management Excellent negotiation, interpersonal, and communication skills Analytical mindset with attention to detail Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team Time management and problem-solving capabilities Education & Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance (B.Com/M.Com) CA Inter or equivalent (Preferred but not mandatory) Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: ₹8,744.72 - ₹20,000.00 per month Benefits: Health insurance Provident Fund Schedule: Day shift Experience: Accounting: 1 year (Preferred) Shift availability: Day Shift (Preferred) Night Shift (Preferred) Overnight Shift (Preferred) Willingness to travel: 25% (Preferred) Work Location: In person
