About the Role

Accountant

Key Responsibilities

• Order Processing Review:

  Monitor daily sales orders for accuracy and fulfillment

• Data Analysis:

  Analyze sales, collections, stock movement, and deductions

• Inventory Management:

  Prepare weekly stock updates and monthly closing reports

• E-commerce Performance Monitoring:

  Track KPIs like sales growth, returns, and customer satisfaction

• Cross-functional Coordination:

  Work closely with Sales, Marketing, and Customer Support teams

• Day-to-Day Accounting:

  Manage bank entries, vendor payments, and general ledger updates

• Financial Reporting:

  Prepare and present monthly financial statements and management reports

• Product Costing & Analysis:

  Perform comparative cost analysis for imports, delivery, and inventory replacement

• Cash Flow Management:

  Monitor and manage company cash flows effectively

• Reconciliation:

  Handle intercompany reconciliations and maintain accurate books

• Database Maintenance:

  Keep financial and operational records updated and audit-ready

• Communication:

  Must be fluent in English with strong email and verbal communication skills, as you’ll coordinate regularly with our US-based team

Required Qualifications

• Education:

  B.Com (Hons) + M.Com / CA Inter / ICWAI Inter (Final aspirants for CA or ICWAI will not be considered)

• Experience:

  3–5 years in core accounting roles, preferably with exposure to eCommerce transactions

• Skills:

  Strong understanding of accounting principles, inventory, costing, and interdepartmental collaboration
