Key Responsibilities: Bookkeeping and Data Entry: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using Tally software. Record daily financial transactions, including sales, purchases, receipts, and payments. Reconcile bank statements and other financial accounts. Taxation and Compliance: Assist in the calculation and filing of Goods and Services Tax (GST) returns. Help with the preparation of Tax Deducted at Source (TDS) statements and filings. Payment Collection: Follow up with clients for timely payment collection. Prepare and send invoices and payment reminders. Maintain a record of outstanding payments and follow up as necessary. Financial Reporting and Support: Assist in the preparation of financial reports as required by management. Support the senior accounts team with various accounting tasks. Handle general administrative and clerical duties related to the finance department. Skills and Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, or a related field. Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience as an Accounts Assistant or in a similar accounting role. Technical Skills: Proficiency in Tally software is mandatory. Working knowledge of TDS and GST regulations. Good understanding of basic accounting principles. Soft Skills: Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Proactive and willing to learn. Availability: Immediate joiners are highly preferred.
