Job Description

Job Summary: We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accounting Executive to manage day-to-day financial transactions, maintain accurate records, and ensure compliance with accounting principles and regulations. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in Tally, GST filings, and basic financial reporting. Key Responsibilities: Record day-to-day financial transactions in accounting software (Tally) Prepare and maintain general ledger accounts, journal entries, and bank reconciliations. Process vendor payments, staff reimbursements, and customer invoicing. Assist with preparation and filing of GST returns, TDS returns, and other statutory compliances. Support monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities. Maintain records of receipts, payments, and other financial transactions. Assist in audits – statutory, internal, and tax audits. Prepare MIS reports for management review. Reconcile accounts payable and receivable. Handle petty cash and expense claims. Key Skills & Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance (B.Com / M.Com preferred). 1–3 years of relevant work experience in accounting. Proficient in accounting software such as Tally ERP 9 or similar. Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, and Indian accounting standards. Working knowledge of MS Excel and financial formulas. Good analytical and organizational skills. Attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to handle confidential information with integrity. Preferred Qualifications:Experience in handling audits or coordination with auditors. Familiarity with Income Tax Act and Companies Act (basics). Completed or pursuing CA Inter / CMA Inter (Optional, but a plus).
