Job Description

Qualification: B.Com - Accountancy; B.Com - Commerce; BBA / BMS - Account/Finance

An account manager serves as the primary liaison between a company and its clients, responsible for cultivating strong, long-term relationships, ensuring customer satisfaction, and driving business growth through upselling and cross-selling . Key duties include managing client needs and concerns, coordinating with internal teams to deliver solutions, developing strategic account plans, resolving issues, and reporting on account performance to meet retention and revenue goals.

Key Responsibilities

Client Relationship Management:

Building and maintaining strong, long-term relationships with clients.

Client Advocacy:

Acting as the main point of contact for clients, understanding their needs, and serving as their voice within the company.

Sales Growth:

Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities within existing accounts, which may include upselling and cross-selling products and services.

Strategic Planning:

Developing and implementing strategic account plans to meet client objectives and drive business growth.

Problem Resolution:

Addressing client inquiries, resolving issues, and preventing future problems by analyzing data and improving processes.

Internal Coordination:

Collaborating with various internal teams, such as sales and project management, to ensure client needs are met and projects are successful.

Performance Monitoring:

Tracking key account metrics, preparing account reviews, and reporting on performance to management.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with clients and internal teams.

Strategic Thinking:

The ability to develop long-term strategies to enhance client satisfaction and retention.

Customer Focus:

A proactive and customer-centric mindset to address client needs and concerns.

Problem-Solving:

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve client issues.

Organizational Skills:

Excellent time management and multitasking abilities to handle multiple accounts and tasks simultaneously.

Technical Proficiency:

Proficiency with CRM software and other relevant business tools.
A Bachelor's degree, often in a related field like business or marketing, is commonly required.
