Account Manager

As an Accounting & Financial Operations professional, your role will involve supervising and managing the accounts to ensure timely and accurate accounting entries, ledgers, and reconciliations. You will be responsible for the finalization of monthly, quarterly, and yearly accounts, as well as managing the preparation of Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, and other financial statements. Key Responsibilities: - Ensure compliance with all statutory obligations such as GST, TDS, Income Tax, PF, and ESI. - Liaise with tax consultants and auditors for statutory and internal audits. - Prepare budgets, forecasts, and financial projections. - Track budget vs actuals and analyze financial performance. - Generate regular MIS reports for management and stakeholders. - Assign roles and responsibilities within the accounts team. - Provide training, mentoring, and performance reviews for team members. - Drive process improvements and automation in accounting functions. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Commerce/Finance (B.Com/BBA). - CA Inter/M.Com/MBA (Finance) preferred. - 5-8 years of relevant experience, including 2-3 years in a supervisory role. In addition to the above responsibilities, you should possess strong knowledge of accounting standards (Ind AS/GAAP), GST, and Income Tax. Expertise in accounting software like Tally, SAP, Zoho Books, etc. will be beneficial. Analytical thinking, attention to detail, problem-solving ability, good communication, and coordination skills are essential. You should also have the ability to lead and manage a team under tight deadlines. The standard working hours will be during business hours with flexibility as needed during audits/closings.
