Job Summary

The Accounts and Finance Manager is responsible for overseeing financial reporting, budgeting, cost management, and compliance with statutory regulations. The role involves implementing financial strategies, managing risk, and ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial transactions. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in financial reporting, software proficiency, and automation skills to enhance financial operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Financial Reporting
• Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.
• Oversee the preparation of financial statements in compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
• Budgeting & Forecasting
• Lead the annual budgeting process, preparing financial forecasts, and monitoring budget variances.
• Conduct variance analysis between forecasts and actuals, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
• Cost Management
• Manage and control overhead costs, focusing on cost-saving measures.
• Implement strategies to reduce operational expenses while maintaining the quality of service.
• Bank Reconciliation
• Ensure accurate and timely reconciliation of bank statements, reviewing discrepancies and resolving issues promptly.
• Implement processes to streamline reconciliation tasks to improve efficiency.
• Invoice Processing
• Oversee invoice processing, ensuring all vendor and client invoices are processed accurately and within set deadlines.
• Monitor the efficiency of the invoicing process and introduce improvements where necessary.
• Risk Management
• Identify potential financial risks and implement risk mitigation strategies.
• Ensure the company is protected from financial liabilities and compliance failures.
• Regulatory Compliance
• Ensure adherence to all regulatory requirements, including tax filings, audits, and financial statements.
• Work closely with auditors and regulatory bodies to ensure accurate and compliant reporting.
• Automation & Financial Software
• Implement and manage financial software tools (e.g., Tally, SAP) to improve reporting and reduce manual errors.
• Lead automation initiatives to streamline finance operations and increase efficiency.
• Compliance with Accounting Standards
• Regularly review and update financial policies to align with best practices and regulatory changes.

Key Skills & Proficiencies:

• Financial Reporting: Proven ability to produce accurate, timely, and compliant financial reports.
• Budgeting & Forecasting: Expertise in preparing budgets, forecasts, and performing variance analysis.
• Cost Management: Experience in managing and reducing overhead costs while maintaining financial control.
• Bank Reconciliation: Strong ability to accurately reconcile financial transactions with bank records.
• Invoice Processing: Efficient in managing end-to-end invoice processing with high accuracy.
• Risk Management: Ability to identify financial risks and implement effective controls.
• Regulatory Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of financial regulations, tax laws, and auditing procedures.
• Automation Skills: Proficiency in automating finance operations through software solutions.
• Financial Software Proficiency: Hands-on experience with financial systems such as Tally, SAP, or equivalent.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master’s preferred).
• Minimum 5-7 years of experience in finance or accounting roles, with at least 3 years in a managerial position.
• Advanced proficiency in financial software such as Tally, SAP, or similar.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
