JOB DESCRIPTION — BOOKKEEPER (Bonntonn Gourmet)

Role Title: Bookkeeper / Accounts Executive (F&B Industry)

Role Introduction

If you are someone who loves accuracy, clean books, and a well-structured financial system — this role is for you. Bonntonn is scaling fast, and we need someone who can bring order, clarity, and precision to our numbers. Most bookkeepers are stuck in chaotic organisations with unclear SOPs, messy ledgers, and founders who don’t understand the value of their work. Here, that changes.

Position Overview

We’re looking for a responsible, detail-obsessed Bookkeeper who can take full ownership of our financial tracking, vendor books, reconciliations, invoicing, and compliance essentials. You will be the backbone of our financial clarity.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain daily accounting entries in Tally/Zoho Books/QuickBooks
• Vendor ledger maintenance + payment schedules
• GST filing data prep (sales/purchase)
• Bank reconciliation & cash flow reporting
• Prepare P&L reports monthly
• Manage invoices, credit notes, refunds, and debit notes
• Track raw material purchases & cost sheets with procurement team
• Support auditors with documentation & compliance
• Coordinate with operations for weekly financial hygiene checks

Requirements

• 2–5 years of bookkeeping experience (F&B experience preferred)
• Strong command over Tally/Zoho/Excel
• Understanding of GST, TDS, basic compliance
• Proven history of maintaining error-free books
• Strong organisational skills
• Ability to work in a fast-moving, scaling startup environment

Logistics

• Location: Alipore, Kolkata
• Employment Type: Full-time
• Salary: ₹20,000 – ₹35,000 per month (depending on experience)
