Accountant

Role Overview

The Accountant will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day financial operations, ensuring

compliance with accounting standards, and supporting the finance team with accurate reporting and

analysis. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of accounting

principles, and experience working in dynamic, technology-driven environments.

Key Responsibilities

 Manage daily accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank

reconciliations, and general ledger entries.

 Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, statements, and reports.

 Support monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes.

 Ensure compliance with relevant tax regulations and corporate laws.

 Collaborate with internal teams (sales, operations, product) to manage budgets and expense

tracking.

 Assist with financial audits, due diligence, and compliance documentation.

 Monitor cash flow and provide insights to optimize financial health.

 Support implementation and optimization of accounting/ERP software and automation tools.

 Provide financial analysis and insights to leadership for strategic planning.

Qualifications & Skills

 Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.

 2–4 years of relevant accounting experience.

 Solid knowledge of accounting standards.

 Strong proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets; experience with accounting software (e.g.,

QuickBooks, Zoho Books, Tally, NetSuite, or Xero).

 Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

 Ability to work independently as well as collaborate across teams.

 Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
