Account Executive

Role Overview: As an Account Head in the Finance / Accounts department located in Guwahati, you will lead the accounting function of the organization. Your primary responsibilities will include ensuring accurate financial reporting, regulatory compliance, and efficient financial operations. You will oversee the accounts team, manage financial accounting, monitor internal controls, and collaborate closely with leadership to support strategic decision-making. Key Responsibilities: - Lead month-end and year-end closing processes to guarantee timely and accurate financial reporting. - Prepare and analyze financial statements in compliance with applicable accounting standards. - Manage budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis effectively. - Ensure compliance with statutory requirements such as GST, TDS, Income Tax, etc. - Collaborate with auditors, tax consultants, and financial institutions. - Implement and uphold strong internal controls and financial procedures. - Drive process enhancements and digital transformation initiatives within the finance function. - Mentor and manage the accounting team, establish goals, and conduct performance reviews. - Provide strategic input to senior management based on financial insights and analysis. Qualifications Required: - Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. - Minimum 3-6 years of experience in accounting or finance, with at least 3 years in a leadership role. - Strong understanding of accounting standards. - Proficiency in accounting software. - Excellent analytical, leadership, and communication skills. - High attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
