Job Purpose

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Executive to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices, along with the ability to handle a variety of financial tasks.

It is one of the fastest growing companies in this category and deals primarily in lighting (bulbs, LEDs, interior/exterior lighting etc.) and wiring, and it is now entering the category of switches, MCBs, etc. In future Sturlite would also want to enter small electrical appliances like fans, geysers, kitchen appliances etc.It is a rapidly growing company with 2X annual business growth, having established itself in South & West India markets in the last few years, the company is aiming at a pan India presence by this year end and aiming to be one of the major players in the category within the next 3 years.

Major Accountabilities

Prepare and issue sales invoices to customers, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.Generate and manage E-way Bills as per the requirements, ensuring compliance with GST regulations.Process and record debit notes and credit notes, ensuring proper documentation and approval.Create and manage delivery challans, coordinating with the logistics team for smooth operations. Handle and reconcile petty cash transactions, maintaining accurate records and adhering to company policies.Monitor and record any discounts allowed to customers, ensuring they are correctly reflected in financial statements.Verify and process Goods Receipt Notes, ensuring accurate recording of received goods and coordination with the purchasing and inventory teams.A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.Proficiency in Tally and Microsoft Office Suite
