Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain day-to-day accounts of the centre (cash, bank, fees received, vendor payments).
Record and reconcile student fee collections, refunds, and outstanding dues.
Handle Petty Cash, Daily Cash Book, and Bank Reconciliation Statements (BRS).
Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports for management.
Ensure timely vendor payments and maintain vendor ledgers.
Manage GST, TDS, and other statutory compliances as per law.
Coordinate with auditors for statutory and internal audits.
Monitor instalment plans, student finance/loan accounts, and reconcile with NBFCs (e.g., Bajaj Finance).
Prepare payroll statements and maintain staff attendance for salary processing.
Support the Centre Head in budgeting, cost control, and financial planning.
Safeguard and maintain all accounting records for audit purposes.

Key Skills & Competencies:

Strong knowledge of Tally ERP / Zoho Books / or any accounting software.
Good understanding of GST, TDS, and financial compliance.
Proficiency in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Table, MIS reports).
Accuracy in record-keeping and attention to detail.
Ability to handle confidential financial data with integrity.
Strong communication and coordination skills.

Qualifications & Experience:

B.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance) preferred.
2–5 years of experience in Accounts / Finance (experience in education/training sector will be an added advantage).
Familiarity with educational institute operations will be preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
