Accounts Executive / Assistant Manager

About the Role

The Accounts Executive / Assistant Manager – Accounts will be responsible for managing various accounting functions and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.

Responsibilities

Maintain day-to-day accounting entries in Tally or similar accounting software
Manage purchase bookings, vendor bills, and related reconciliations
Ensure timely and accurate bank transactions, including Letter of Credit (LC) opening and follow-up
Handle import documentation, customs-related entries, and ensure compliance with relevant regulations
Support internal and statutory audits with proper documentation
Prepare financial reports, summaries, and assist in month-end closing activities
Coordinate with vendors, banks, and other stakeholders
Maintain and organize financial records, vouchers, and supporting documents

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Commerce / Finance / Accounting or related field
4 to 5+ years of relevant experience in accounting

Required Skills

Strong command over Tally and other accounting tools
Preferred knowledge of Customs, Import regulations, and related procedures
Familiarity with LC opening, banking norms, and documentation
Attention to detail, with strong analytical and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively

Preferred Skills

Prior experience in a manufacturing or trading company is an added advantage
Good communication skills (written and verbal)
Proactive, self-motivated, and team-oriented
