Job Description

The account executive will manage end-to-end accounting operations, statutory compliance coordination, payroll support, and financial reporting, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery of all financial processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain day-to-day accounting entries using Tally or other accounting software
  • Perform monthly bank and ledger reconciliations
  • Manage GST computations and ensure timely filing of returns
  • Handle TDS entries, deductions, and return filings
  • Manage PT compliance, Form 16 preparation, and other statutory accounting activities
  • Coordinate payroll inputs and share PF & ESIC-related data with vendors
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable, including vendor invoices, payments, and follow-ups
  • Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes
  • Prepare MIS reports and financial summaries for management review
  • Support audits and coordinate with external CAs or auditors
  • Verify HR petty cash bills and employee expense claims for accuracy and compliance
  • Ensure accounting records are audit-ready and comply with statutory and internal policies
  • Maintain accurate financial records with high attention to detail
  • Communicate effectively with team members, vendors, and stakeholders

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Strong understanding of basic accounting principles
  • Hands-on experience with Tally and MS Excel
  • Practical knowledge of GST, TDS, PT, accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliation, Form 16, and petty cash management
  • Experience in payroll coordination and liaison with statutory compliance vendors
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
