Account Associate

About the Role We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Associate to support our finance and accounting operations. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of accounting principles, Indian taxation, and statutory compliance. This role involves assisting in daily accounting activities, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring timely completion of assigned tasks in line with company and statutory requirements.   Key Responsibilities Assist in day-to-day accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and general ledger postings. Support in preparation and finalization of financial statements as per Indian Accounting Standards. Ensure accurate and timely filing of GST, TDS and other statutory returns. Coordinate with auditors during internal and statutory audits by preparing necessary schedules and documentation. Maintain and update accounting records in Tally ERP and other financial systems. Assist in budget preparation, expense monitoring, and variance reporting. Support cash flow management by tracking receipts, payments, and fund requirements. Liaise with banks, vendors, and government authorities for financial and compliance matters. Prepare and share periodic MIS reports and assist management with financial data as needed. Maintain proper documentation and ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies.   Required Qualifications & Skills Education: B. Com / M. Com or equivalent. Experience: 2–4 years of experience in accounting and finance (preferably under Indian GAAP). Technical Skills: Proficiency in Tally ERP and MS Excel. Working knowledge of GST, TDS, and other statutory compliances. Soft Skills: Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Good analytical and problem-solving skills. Effective communication and interpersonal abilities. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
