Role Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts assistant to manage the process of recording, organizing, and summarizing a company's daily financial transactions such as sales, purchases, and payments and maintain accurate records. The ideal candidate should have prior experience in bookkeeping and a strong understanding of accounting principles.

Key Responsibilities

• Record daily financial transactions accurately
• Reconcile bank, credit card, and merchant accounts
• Manage Accounts Payable: process invoices, schedule payments, maintain vendor records
• Handle Accounts Receivable: issue invoices, track payments, follow up on overdue accounts
• Maintain general ledger and post journal entries
• Assist with payroll processing and tax withholdings
• Prepare monthly financial reports (Balance Sheet, P&L, Cash Flow)
• Support compliance with tax and regulatory requirements
• Provide administrative support: organize financial files and assist in budget preparation

Qualifications & Requirements

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business preferred
• 1–3 years bookkeeping/accounting experience
• Proficiency in Accounts software and MS Excel
• Strong knowledge of bookkeeping and A/P & A/R principles
