Review plans and specifications for construction of new machinery or equipment to determine whether all safety requirements have been met. Interview employers and employees to obtain information about work environments and workplace incidents. Review employee safety programs to determine their adequacy. Conduct or direct testing of air quality, noise, temperature, or radiation levels to verify compliance with health, safety and environment regulations. Co-ordinate with Govt. Officials / External Agencies and ensure maintenance of all necessary records and data as required by different departments such as Pollution Control Board, DC and SEZ Dept., Water Dept., Electricity Dept, Solid and Effluent Disposals, etc Teach safety standards or environmental compliance methods and advise others on health and safety issues. Maintain liaisons with outside organizations such as fire departments, mutual aid societies, and rescue teams, so that emergency responses can be facilitated. Confer with medical professionals to assess health risks and to develop ways to manage health issues and concerns. Monitors Quality Team for regular compliance of Company s Quality Assurance Plan since Quality team is reporting to EHS personnel as per agreed Organogram.
