Safety Officer

As a Safety Officer at Zenith Recruitment & Visa Services, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our employees. Your primary responsibility will be to develop and implement safety policies and procedures to maintain a safe work environment. This will involve conducting regular safety audits, identifying potential hazards, and assessing risks within the workplace. It will be your duty to ensure compliance with local, national, and international safety regulations, as well as investigating incidents and accidents to determine their root causes. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct regular safety audits and inspections - Identify potential hazards and assess risks in the workplace - Ensure compliance with safety regulations - Investigate incidents and accidents to determine root causes - Collaborate with management to improve workplace safety - Provide training and guidance on safety practices to employees - Maintain accurate safety records - Organize emergency response drills - Serve as a liaison between management and regulatory bodies - Monitor and analyze safety performance metrics - Stay updated on changes in safety legislation and best practices Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety or related field - Minimum of 3 years of experience in a safety officer role - In-depth knowledge of safety regulations and practices - Certifications such as NEBOSH or IOSH preferred - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities - Ability to work independently and in a team environment Your commitment to safety and environmental standards, along with proficiency in MS Office Suite, will be crucial for preparing clear reports and documentation. Experience in conducting safety training programs, knowledge of emergency management procedures, and the ability to handle stressful situations calmly are also valuable skills for this role. Additionally, having first aid and CPR certification, as well as a willingness to travel to various job sites, will be advantageous in fulfilling your responsibilities effectively.,
