Job Description

Implement and maintain plant safety systems in compliance with statutory and company requirements.
Conduct regular safety Inspections, audits, and risk assessments.
Investigate accidents/Incidents and recommend corrective/preventive measures.
Ensure compliance with Factories Act, OSHA, ISO 45001, and environmental regulations.
Develop and Implement safety training programs for employees and contractors.
Maintain safety records, reports, and documentation.
Coordinate with external agencies like DISH, Fire Department, and Pollution Control Board as required.
Participate in safety committee meetings and drive safety culture through initiatives.
Supervise the use and maintenance of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
Support emergency preparedness and conduct periodic mock drills.
Monitor work permit systems and ensure compliance in hazardous areas (confined space, hot work, etc.).
