Academic Counselor - Education Sales

Responsibilities of the role include :

• Responsible for generating revenue by converting leads received through marketing activities
• Do outbound calling(feedback calls to the parents) on the leads taking  trial classes
• Counsel parents and guide them towards suitable courses
• Clearly communicate details of the courses & pricing to the prospects
• Responding to parent queries over emails/WA and following up consistently
• Maintain CRM and database of prospects
• Responsible to achieve lead conversion targets for every month

Desired Education, Experience & Competencies Requirements :

• Bachelor's degree from a reputed school/university; Masters/ MBA would be an added advantage but not necessary
• The ideal candidate would have experience of 2-4 years only in sales/business development/admissions counseling in a B2C environment. Prior experience in the education industry would be helpful but not mandatory.
• Should have excellent verbal and written English communication skills
• Should be a self-starter, have high levels of motivation, enthusiasm and a never say die attitude
• Good work ethic, ability to work in an unstructured start-up environment, and interpersonal skills
• Demonstrated ability to meet targets with a keen eye on planning and execution
