Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai for an Education Counselor at CareerBloc. The Education Counselor will work closely with students to provide support through educational consulting, career counseling, and personalized guidance. Responsibilities include assessing students’ academic needs, recommending suitable academic and career paths, and providing comprehensive counseling to ensure clients make informed decisions. The role also involves fostering positive relationships with students and their families while collaborating with educational institutions as needed.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Educational Consulting and Student Counseling to assist students in identifying and pursuing appropriate academic and career opportunities.
• Strong skills in Career Counseling, with the ability to navigate career pathways and match students with suitable options.
• Effective Communication abilities to build trust and understanding with students, parents, and educational institutions.
• In-depth knowledge and expertise in the Education sector are beneficial.
• Ability to work proactively, exhibit empathy, and demonstrate problem-solving skills.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred; prior counseling experience is an advantage.
