Academic Counsellor

We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Academic Counselor to join our team. As an academic counselor, you will play a pivotal role in guiding and advising prospective students regarding our educational programs and assisting them in making informed decisions about their academic pursuits.

Responsibilities:

• Provide personalized guidance and counseling to prospective students regarding various educational programs offered by the company.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments of students' educational backgrounds, interests, and career goals to recommend suitable courses or programs.
• Explain program details, curriculum, admission requirements, and career prospects to students and address any queries or concerns they may have.
• Assist students in completing admission applications and enrollment procedures accurately and efficiently.
• Collaborate with academic and administrative staff to ensure smooth coordination of student admissions, registrations, and related processes.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student interactions, inquiries, and admissions data.
• Participate in promotional events, workshops, and outreach activities to promote the company's educational offerings and attract potential students.
• Stay updated on industry trends, educational policies, and market demands to provide relevant and informed guidance to students.
• You shall be responsible for achieving the weekly/monthly admission target of the center.
• You Shall be responsible for delivering impactful sales presentations in nearby areas of the respective location.
• You shall make productive house calls.
• You Shall be responsible for the admission process and documentation, batch formation, and giving career seminars at education institutes, schools, colleges, etc.
• Facilitate data management, team management, and managing/preparing MIS.
• Ensuring Proper handling of all queries of students and parents by effective counseling.
• You shall make productive BA tie-ups.
• You will be required to conduct STP activities regularly for your centers.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in education, counseling, psychology, or a related field.
• Minimum Education Graduate.
• Proven experience in academic counseling, student advice, or a similar role.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
• Proficiency in computer applications and educational software.
• Knowledge of educational policies, admission procedures, and career counseling techniques.
• Positive attitude, empathy, and a genuine interest in helping students achieve their academic and career goals.
