Academic Coordinator - PUNE CANDIDATES ONLY)

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Pune for an Academic Coordinator. The Academic Coordinator will be responsible for developing and administering academic programs, advising students on academic matters, conducting research, and coordinating curriculum development. Day-to-day tasks include interacting with students and faculty, scheduling classes, and ensuring adherence to educational standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Academic Planning & Coordination:

• Develop and manage academic schedules, timetables, and examination calendars.
• Coordinate curriculum planning, syllabus updates, and course allocations in consultation with faculty.
• Monitor lesson plans, course files, and academic progress.

Faculty Support & Coordination:

• Assist in coordinating faculty meetings, workshops, and training programs.
• Ensure faculty members have necessary teaching materials and resources.
• Facilitate communication between faculty, administration, and students.

Student Support & Engagement:

• Address student academic queries and grievances related to courses, attendance, or exams.
• Monitor student performance and coordinate remedial classes or support as needed.
• Facilitate orientation programs for new students.

Examinations & Assessments:

• Oversee preparation and smooth conduct of internal assessments and examinations.
• Coordinate invigilation schedules, result compilation, and mark submissions.
• Ensure proper record-keeping of academic results and reports.

Compliance & Reporting:

• Ensure adherence to academic policies, accreditation requirements, and institutional guidelines.
• Prepare and maintain reports, attendance records, and other academic documentation.

Other Duties:

• Act as liaison between academic departments and administrative offices.
• Participate in academic audits and quality assurance activities.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by the management.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Education or relevant field.
• Proven experience in academic administration or coordination.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proficiency in using MS Office and academic management systems.
• Ability to handle sensitive information with integrity and confidentiality.
