Academic Coordinator - Amity University Hyderabad

Role & responsibilities:

• Coordinate and oversee the smooth execution of academic programs, courses, and schedules. • Serve as the primary liaison between faculty, students, and administrative departments.
• Assist in academic planning, including course offerings, timetable preparation, and faculty assignments.
• Monitor curriculum implementation and ensure adherence to university academic policies and standards.
• Support faculty in academic operations such as grading processes, examination schedules, and classroom logistics.
• Coordinate with the registrars office for enrolment, attendance, and student record management.
• Organize academic events such as seminars, workshops, guest lectures, and orientation sessions.
• Ensure timely communication of academic calendars, deadlines, and policy updates to students and staff.
• Manage digital learning platforms (e.g., LMS, student portals) and assist faculty and students in usage. Facilitate academic advising and student support services in coordination with faculty advisors.
• Prepare academic reports, documentation, and performance summaries for university leadership.
• Handle special academic projects and initiatives as assigned by the Dean or Academic Head.

Preferred candidate profile:

Masters degree (or higher) in Education, Administration, or a relevant academic field.

• Minimum of 3-7 years of experience in academic administration or coordination within a reputed institution.

• Strong understanding of higher education systems, policies, and accreditation requirements.

• Proficiency in academic management software and Learning Management Systems (LMS).
