As a Zonal Trade Marketing Specialist at Dyson, your role involves developing and executing trade marketing initiatives within a specific geographic zone to enhance product visibility, sales, and trade relationships. You will collaborate with sales, marketing, and distribution teams to align trade marketing activities with regional and national business objectives. Here are your key responsibilities: - Develop and implement local trade marketing plans tailored to market conditions and consumer behavior in the assigned zone. - Collaborate with regional and national marketing teams to ensure alignment of trade marketing initiatives with company strategies. - Plan and execute in-store promotional activities, product displays, trade shows, and events to enhance brand visibility and drive product sales. - Build and maintain strong relationships with key retail partners, distributors, and wholesalers in the region. - Monitor competitor activities, trade promotions, and market trends to ensure the company's products remain competitive. - Work closely with the sales team to ensure alignment of trade marketing activities with sales goals and objectives. - Assist in the development and management of the trade marketing budget for the region. Qualifications required for this role include: - Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field (MBA or additional qualifications are a plus). - Minimum of 8-12 years of experience in trade marketing, field marketing, or sales in the consumer goods, FMCG, or retail industry. - Strong project management, organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with trade marketing or CRM software is preferred. Personal attributes that will contribute to your success in this role include being results-driven, proactive, detail-oriented, and having a strong sense of ownership and accountability. Additionally, you should be willing to travel regularly within the assigned zone and work irregular hours or weekends based on trade marketing events or promotional timelines. Understanding of local market dynamics and consumer behavior in the assigned zone is also essential for this role.
