Key Responsibilities

• Business Growth & Strategy

• Set and achieve targets for micro-loans, savings, insurance, and cross-sell products in the zone.
• Identify new markets, partnerships, and products to expand outreach.

• Team Leadership

• Manage and mentor Regional/Area Managers and branch teams.
• Drive performance through regular reviews, training, and capacity building.

• Operations & Compliance

• Ensure adherence to RBI and internal compliance guidelines, KYC/AML norms, and audit requirements.
• Monitor portfolio quality—PAR (portfolio at risk), NPA levels—and implement corrective actions.

• Risk & Credit Management

• Oversee credit underwriting standards, approval processes, and collection efficiency.
• Mitigate credit, operational, and reputational risks.

• Customer & Community Engagement

• Promote financial inclusion initiatives and maintain strong relationships with local communities, NGOs, and government programs.

Typical Qualifications

• Graduate or postgraduate degree in finance, business, or related field (MBA preferred).
• 10–15+ years of banking or micro-finance experience, with several years in regional or zonal leadership.
• Strong knowledge of micro-lending, rural banking, and regulatory environment.
