Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Evaluate loan applications, analyze financial statements, credit reports, and other relevant information to assess creditworthiness. Approve loans within delegated authority and ensure adherence to credit policies and procedures
Manage and mentor a team of credit analysts, providing guidance and support in credit appraisal and approval processes .
Collaborate with other departments like sales, operations, and collections to drive business growth and achieve business targets
Monitor the performance of the loan portfolio within the zone, identifying and mitigating potential risks.
Implement strategies to improve portfolio quality, reduce delinquencies, and enhance recoveries
Monitor periodic Credit reviews
Monitor & maintain quality portfolio of given Zone.
Manage relationship with Zonal business team.
Suggest change requirements in credit process to National Credit Manager.
Compliance to norms and Audit requirement
