Zonal Credit Manager

Job Title: Zonal Credit Manager Home Loans Location: Hyderabad Area- AP&TS. Job Purpose: To lead and manage the credit underwriting function for home loans across the designated zone. Ensure sound credit practices, manage risk, drive quality business, and maintain portfolio health. Key Responsibilities: 1. Credit Assessment & Underwriting: Approve or review home loan applications within delegated authority. Ensure timely and accurate credit decisions in line with policies. Analyze financials, bank statements, and property documentation. 2. Team Management: Lead, train, and mentor a team of Regional/Senior Credit Managers. Monitor team productivity and efficiency. Conduct periodic performance reviews. 3. Policy Implementation & Risk Control: Ensure dherence to credit policies and regulatory guidelines. Identify and mitigate credit risk through prudent underwriting. Suggest improvements to credit policies based on market feedback. 4. Portfolio Quality & Delinquency Control: Regularly monitor portfolio health and take proactive steps to control NPAs. Coordinate with collections teams for early delinquency control. 5. Stakeholder Coordination: Liaise with sales, legal, technical, and operations teams for smooth processing. Provide inputs to product and risk teams based on market and credit trends. 6. Audit & Compliance: Ensure zone is audit-compliant. Handle internal, external, and regulatory audits as required. Preferred candidate profile
