Role Overview As a Manager, SAP Technical Integration , you will be responsible for the design, implementation, customization, and ongoing maintenance of SAP systems within an organization. This role combines both technical and functional expertise to ensure that SAP solutions are effectively integrated and aligned with business processes. SAP Engineers work closely with both IT teams and business stakeholders to optimize the performance and functionality of SAP applications, ensuring they support business objectives and drive operational efficiency. What will you do in this role: Design and implement integration solutions using SAP BTP iPaaS capabilities. Develop and optimize interfaces for real-time and batch integration across SAP and non-SAP system. Leverage SAP Integration Suite (Cloud Integration, Open Connectors, API Management for building robust and scalable integration solutions. Implement event driven architectures using SAP Event Mesh or other event streaming technologies. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders, architects, and developers, to gather and analyze integration requirements. Translate business needs into technical designs and integration workflows. Ensure integration comply with organizational security standards, regulatory guidelines (e.g. GxP, HIPAA), and industry best practices. Manage data flow governance and error handling mechanisms. Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize integration processes to ensure performance, uptime, and data accuracy. Conduct regular health checks and implement proactive measures for continuous improvement. Create and maintain technical documentation for integration processes, configurations, and best practices. Act as a subject matter expert. Advocate for process automation and digital transformation initiatives within the organization. Work within a matrix organizational structure, reporting to both the functional manager and the project manager. What should you have: Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or any Technology stream. 3+ years of hands-on experience working with SAP Integration Suite (Cloud Integration, API Management, Open Connectors). Proficiency in developing integration between SAP ECC/S4HANA and non-SAP systems (e.g., Salesforce, Workday). Knowledge of integration patterns (e.g., synchronous, asynchronous, event-driven). Proficiency in authentication and authorization protocols (OAuth, JWT, SAML). Familiarity with JSON, XML, XSLT, OData, REST, and SOA Experience with SAP Event Mesh, BTP Extension Suite, or SAP CAP (Cloud Application Programming). Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for SAP integration projects. Exposure to other middleware platforms (e.g., MuleSoft, Boomi) is a plus. Good interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written). Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent verbal and written communication. Ability to work independently in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
