Job Description Summary: As the Workday Talent and Performance Module Lead you will typically focus on the Talent and Performance management module, serving as the functional owner/ architect and subject matter expert (SME) for the module, providing strategic oversight, technical leadership, and operational support. This role will be responsible for partnering with stakeholders within our Talent and Performance management and total rewards team identifying, designing, implementing, and maintaining talent management solutions within Workday and those relevant 3rd party talent management support systems that interface with Workday. The candidate must have a proven track record of implementing and administrating Workday with expert level knowledge on the Talent and Performance management module and HCM processing. This includes driving system improvements, automating processes, testing and operational support. Responsibilties: • Own the Workday Talent and Performance Management module, overseeing the designing, solutioning, implementation, configuration, testing and ongoing management. • Partner with business stakeholders to develop a Talent and Performance Management optimization roadmap (Front door requests / Project intakes and Backlog management) by understanding pain points, prioritize requirements and opportunities to improve process efficiency and scalability. • Leverage mastery level knowledge to lead efforts (hands-on) to deliver complex initiatives/ projects/ module enhancements identified in the Talent and Performance Management optimization roadmap. • Release management: Manage sprint planning and deliverables. Manage half-yearly Workday release enhancements (R1 and R2) • Manage/ Triage Service NAB tickets for all Talent and Performance Management-related issues, system enhancements, and process improvement initiatives, ensuring all tickets are properly documented, prioritized, and resolved in a timely manner. • Serve as the go-to person for Talent and Performance Management inquiries and provide training to P&C, managers, and other stakeholders on how to use the Talent and Performance Management module in Workday effectively. • Lead testing efforts within P&C Systems, ensuring smooth user acceptance testing (UAT) and Integrated testing. • Stay up to date with Workday updates, releases, and industry best practices to enhance system capabilities. • Mentor and guide junior colleagues in their role in configuration and testing. Qualification: • Bachelor's degree in computer science, business administration, or related field, or equivalent work experience. • Minimum of 12 years of Workday experience with expertise in Workday Talent and Performance Management and any other areas such as HCM, compensation, benefits, recruiting, recruitment, and absence. • Must be Workday Talent and Performance Management Pro certified. Certification in another module will be an added advantage. • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot Workday technical issues. • Excellent verbal and written communication, with escalation and conflict resolution skills. • Works under general direction, must be able to work independently.Role & responsibilities
