WorkDay Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Workday Configuration Expert to join our team. This role is crucial in ensuring that our Workday HCM system is configured optimally to meet the needs of our organization. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in security architecture and have a proven track record of successful Workday implementations. You will be responsible for engaging with stakeholders, scoping, designing, and delivering solutions that enhance our HR processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Workday Configuration: Design, configure, and maintain the Workday HCM business processes, ensuring they align with organizational requirements and industry best practices.
• Security Architecture: Develop and implement a robust security architecture within Workday, ensuring that sensitive data is protected, and compliance standards are met.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Act as a liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders, facilitating discussions to gather requirements and understand their needs.
• Project Scoping & Design: Lead the scoping and design of Workday projects, ensuring that all configurations are tailored to meet specific business objectives.
• Solution Delivery: Oversee the delivery of Workday solutions, ensuring timelines are met and quality standards are upheld.
• Testing & Validation: Conduct thorough testing and validation of configurations, ensuring that all functionalities perform as intended before going live.
• Training & Support: Provide training and ongoing support to end-users, helping them navigate the Workday system and resolve any issues that arise.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay current with Workday updates and enhancements, proactively recommending improvements to existing configurations and processes.
• Flexibility with Shift Timings: Exhibit flexibility in working hours to accommodate project needs, including potential evening or weekend work as required.

Qualifications:

• Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Human Resources, or a related field.
• Experience: 8-10 years of experience in Workday configuration, specifically focusing on security implementation and the HCM module.
• Technical Proficiency: In-depth knowledge of Workday HCM functionalities, including core HR, payroll, talent management, and reporting.
• Business Process Design: Proven experience in designing and maintaining business processes within Workday, with a strong understanding of HR workflows.
• Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess complex situations and develop effective solutions.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders, including executives and technical teams.
• Project Management: Experience in project management methodologies, with a track record of managing multiple priorities and delivering projects on time
• Certifications: Workday certification is highly desirable
