Job Description

As a Director in the Workday team, you will be responsible for independently leading and driving Finance engagements, architecting solutions, and delivering results that exceed client expectations. You will collaborate with senior leaders, build enduring client relationships, and play a pivotal role in pre-sales and solutioning activities. Your expertise will inspire confidence and trust, positioning you as a champion of our core values and a leader in the consulting domain.
Key Responsibilities: Independently lead and drive Workday Finance engagements, ensuring successful delivery and client satisfaction. Serve as a solution architect and delivery leader, overseeing all phases of project implementation, including estimation, planning, and execution. Act as Engagement leader /Project Manager (EM-PM), managing multiple projects of varying scale and duration simultaneously. Collaborate with client and internal senior leaders to design and implement goal-achieving solutions. Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with clients, acting as a primary customer-facing representative Translate complex business requirements and meeting discussions into clear documentation for participants and project teams. Support pre-sales activities, including RFP responses, solution proposal development, and estimation. Train and mentor staff in both project management and technical areas, fostering professional development. Demonstrate thought leadership through speaking engagements, publications, or industry forums.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
  • Proven experience in Workday Finance implementations, with a track record of successful delivery leadership.
  • Workday Finance certification (mandatory).
  • Strong functional expertise in the Finance domain, with the ability to architect and deliver solutions independently.
  • Experience with estimating, implementation planning, and project management.
  • Exposure to pre-sales, RFP processes, and solution proposal development.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with strong interpersonal ability to build trust and collaboration quickly.
  • Ability to establish credibility with senior-level, financially literate executives through expertise, maturity, and professionalism.
  • Strong analytical skills to translate discussions into actionable documentation.
  • Willingness and ability to travel as required and work extended hours when necessary.
Preferences:
  • Demonstrated thought leadership through speaking engagements and/or publications.
  • Experience in consulting environments, preferably with exposure to large-scale transformation projects.
