Renow Pro is a leading Dubai-based interior fit-out company delivering premium commercial, residential, and renovation projects. We are known for our transparent project management system where clients can track progress live through our app. We are expanding our cost control and estimation department and are looking for a Work-from-Home Quantity Surveyor (QS) who can handle detailed estimation, cost tracking, and budget validation for ongoing and upcoming interior projects.

Role Overview

The Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for preparing detailed project estimates, identifying and coding each cost line item, and maintaining daily cost tracking sheets linked to approved budgets and contracts. The candidate must have a strong understanding of interior fit-out materials, MEP works, joinery, finishes, and subcontractor scope divisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare comprehensive cost estimates for interior fit-out projects including materials, labor, equipment, and subcontractor works.
• Break down every item into cost components (material, labor, overheads, profit, etc.).
• Assign and manage cost codes for all estimate line items and maintain them throughout the project lifecycle.
• Track daily cost updates against approved budgets and committed costs.
• Review all purchase requests, LPOs, and invoices to ensure they match the approved contract, scope of work, and relevant cost codes.
• Validate that each purchase or subcontractor cost is aligned with client scope / subcontractor scope / company scope.
• Maintain a Cost Control Sheet to monitor project financials and identify cost overruns or savings.
• Support management in monthly cost reporting, budget forecasts, and cash flow analysis.
• Revalidate cost data continuously to reflect variations, change orders, and material price updates.
• Coordinate with the procurement team to ensure cost-efficient purchasing aligned with the project budget.
• Prepare comparison sheets (BOQ vs. actual) for completed projects to refine future estimates.

Required Skills & Experience

• Minimum 5 years of UAE experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Estimator in Interior Fit-out / Joinery / MEP.
• Strong understanding of BOQ preparation, cost coding, estimation formats, and procurement validation.
• Proficient in Excel / Google Sheets, especially with formulas, pivot tables, and cost tracking dashboards.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD drawings and interior finishes to extract quantities accurately.
• Familiar with contract documents, scope of works, and variation management.
• Ability to work independently and remotely, managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical thinking.
• Good communication skills in English (Arabic is a plus).

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or Construction Management.
• Experience with ERP or cost control software is an advantage.
• Candidates who have previously worked for UAE-based interior fit-out firms will be given preference.
