Role Description

WordPress / PHP Developer

not a basic theme setup role

• custom plugin development (OAuth, REST APIs, cron jobs, database integrations)
• high-performance themes with modular, maintainable code
• secure, scalable backend logic for WordPress sites and SaaS-style tools

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain

  custom WordPress plugins

  (using procedural PHP or OOP as required).
• Build and extend

  custom themes

  using Gutenberg, ACF, or block development tools.
• Integrate with

  external APIs

  (Google, Meta, LinkedIn, Twitter/X, etc.).
• Write secure, optimized PHP/MySQL code following WordPress coding standards.
• Implement CRON-based background tasks and admin UI pages.
• Troubleshoot and optimize performance (Core Web Vitals, caching, queries).
• Collaborate with designers and front-end developers (React/JS knowledge is a plus).
• Version control and deployment via Git.
• Write clean documentation and inline comments for maintainability.

• Strong knowledge of
