Our clients aren’t looking for "just another WordPress website" — they want web experiences that impress, inspire, and convert. And for that, we need you — a WordPress Developer who doesn’t just code but conjures. The Role We’re on the hunt for a talented WordPress Developer who lives and breathes front-end magic — someone who can craft responsive, animated, fast-loading websites using WordPress, CSS, GSAP, WebGL (think Three.js), and a dash of performance witchcraft. You’ll take our designs and transform them into websites that make people say “Wow.” Your Toolbox Should Include WordPress (custom themes, ACF, manual installations — no cookie-cutter shortcuts) HTML5, CSS3, SCSS, Tailwind (optional but nice to have) GSAP animations (ScrollTriggers, timelines, easings — make things move like butter) WebGL (Bonus points for Three.js — let’s make interactive 3D real) Strong understanding of UI/UX and performance optimization CDN, caching, image optimization, lazy loading, responsive media WordPress security, plugin management, and clean code practices Ability to integrate with APIs or embed external widgets/services Git, Figma (basic use), and browser dev tools proficiency What You'll Actually Do Build fully custom websites from scratch Animate sections with GSAP to bring storytelling to life (parallax, reveal, sticky sections) Integrate subtle WebGL elements to elevate the experience without overwhelming it Ensure blazing-fast load times and smooth responsiveness across all devices Manage the full dev cycle: from setup to deployment Troubleshoot bugs, optimize performance, and tweak until it feels just right Deliver the final product with clean code and clean conscience You Are A perfectionist who notices when a pixel is even slightly off Obsessed with smooth transitions and scroll animations Pragmatic, fast, and independent — but collaborative when it matters Not afraid of debugging the dark arts (console.log is your flashlight) Bonus: You’ve already made something that made a client gasp or go viral What You'll Get Freedom to explore and create Fast feedback loops and no unnecessary meetings Work featured in case studies, portfolios, and maybe awards How to Apply Send us: A brief intro (be real, be fun) Your top two to three WordPress sites with animations (live links only) GitHub profile or samples of behind-the-scenes dev work Bonus: A site that inspires you and why Email us at: martin@airpopmedia.com Show more Show less
