Weigh Bridge Operator

Job Title: Weighbridge Operator – Rice Mill Experience Required: 0–1 Year Location: Donde Khurd, Raipur Department: Operations / Rice Mill Administration --- Job Summary: We are hiring a Weighbridge Operator for our rice mill to manage vehicle weighments and record accurate stock movement of paddy, rice, husk, and by-products. The candidate will be responsible for weighing trucks, maintaining weighment slips, and ensuring transparency in stock and dispatch records. Freshers with basic computer knowledge can also apply. --- Key Responsibilities: Operate the weighbridge system to record weights of paddy, rice, husk, bran, and other by-products. Maintain proper records of inward raw paddy and outward rice/finished goods dispatches. Cross-check weighment slips with purchase challans, gate passes, and sales invoices. Ensure accuracy in weighment to avoid stock discrepancies. Issue weighment slips/tickets to drivers and update daily log registers. Coordinate with procurement, production, and dispatch teams for smooth truck movement. Report abnormal differences in gross/net weight (e.g., moisture content, wastage) to management. Maintain cleanliness of the weighbridge area and ensure system functionality. Submit daily weighbridge summary report to mill manager/accounts department. --- Skills & Qualifications: Minimum qualification: 10+2 / Diploma / Graduate. 0–1 year of work experience (freshers welcome). Basic computer knowledge (MS Excel / weighbridge software). Good numeric accuracy and attention to detail. Ability to communicate in local language (Hindi/Chhattisgarhi/etc.) and basic English. Familiarity with rice mill operations (preferred but not mandatory). --- Key Competencies: Honesty & reliability in weight handling. Ability to work in shifts. Record-keeping and reporting skills. Coordination with procurement and dispatch teams. ---
