Weigh Bridge Operator

Position Name:

Role Objective:

To ensure accurate and efficient weighment of incoming and outgoing materials while maintaining transparency, system integrity, and compliance with all regulatory and organizational policies.

Role Responsibilities:

• Operate the weighbridge system to record the weights of all incoming and outgoing vehicles carrying materials.
  
• Maintain updated and accurate weighment logs, including vehicle details, tare weight, gross weight, net weight, and driver credentials.
  
• Verify documents such as challans, gate passes, and delivery orders before initiating weighment.
  
• Coordinate with security, stores, dispatch, and logistics departments for smooth vehicle flow and operational efficiency.
  
• Ensure timely data entry into the ERP / SAP / weighbridge software and prepare weighment reports for MIS.
  
• Monitor camera and security systems linked with the weighbridge and report any discrepancies or unauthorized activity.
  
• Conduct periodic checks and calibrations of the weighbridge equipment in coordination with maintenance and third-party vendors.
  
• Adhere strictly to SOPs, safety norms, and company guidelines while operating the weighbridge.
  
• Escalate any irregularities or malfunctioning of the weighbridge system to the concerned authority immediately.
