Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Wedding Event Coordinator based in Ludhiana. We are seeking a highly organized, creative, and passionate Wedding Events Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the primary point of contact for our clients, guiding them through every step of the wedding planning process. This role requires exceptional communication skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously under pressure. The Wedding Events Coordinator is responsible for ensuring that all aspects of a wedding, from the initial consultation to the final event, are executed seamlessly and professionally.


Key Responsibilities:


Event Coordination & Client Communication:

o   Oversee on-ground management of weddings and pre-wedding events.

o   Develop detailed wedding timelines, checklists, and schedules.

o   Assist in conducting site visits to ensure all requirements are met.

o   Be the go-to person for clients and families during events.

o   Handle last-minute requests, concerns, or changes with calm and clarity.

o   Coordinate with decor, catering, entertainment, photo/video, and hospitality vendors to ensure deliverables are met.

o   Track vendor timelines, contracts, and commitments during execution.

o   Ensure every aspect of the event is aligned with client briefs – from entry cues to placement details.

o   Keep an eye on minute details – layouts, props, guest experience, and backup plans.

o   Act proactively to resolve unexpected issues (logistical delays, guest concerns, etc.).

o   Think on your feet and de-escalate potential event-day challenges.

o   Understand and respect various wedding customs, rituals, and traditions (Sikh, Hindu, Muslim, Christian, etc.).

o   Support religious or cultural ceremonies with appropriate etiquette and respect.

o   Stay updated with wedding trends, aesthetics, themes, and modern planning practices.

o   Support creative execution that aligns with client taste and market expectations.


Qualifications

  • Experience in event planning, wedding décor, and project management
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and solve problems quickly
  • Creative and innovative approach to wedding décor and design
  • Strong attention to detail and quality control
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a team and independently
  • Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Hospitality, or related field is a plus.
